"I booked a room at the Ibis Hotel in Barretos, just for this night, to stay with my father, and I found the staff extremely unprofessional. The door had an issue because the breathing machine my father uses was left inside the room, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress for us. I was very disappointed by how slow and careless everything felt. When I entered the room, the air conditioner was extremely dirty — very dirty — and my father has respiratory problems. How can I turn on a dirty air conditioner in a hotel room for someone who needs clean air to breathe? Because of this, I had to sleep in the heat all night. I booked two rooms for four people. The girl at the front desk kept saying she was doing me a “favor” by letting us use the second room — even though I paid for two rooms for four people. My sister and I stayed in one room, and my parents in the other. I explained that sometimes my sister stays in my parents’ room to help my mom take care of my dad.
