The drying room and ski/board locker was more than satisfactory and on site parking was convenient also the included buffet breakfast was really nice and all staff were friendly and helpful with the owner/manager and his partner/wife being fantastic hosts. "Beautifully renovated rooms, clean and family friendly. We travelled with two young children, and it was perfect. Onsite cafe which opens early, and a bistro/pub but I’m not sure on the opening hours. The food was good, lovely dining area set up with fireplaces, which keep it nice and warm. ( if travelling in winter or during cold weather) They have a pool and plenty of parking. A short distance up the road is a petrol station, which you can hire snow chains and has also a little convenient store. Overall a great place to stay overnight or a few nights to rest, recover and relax. "

"5 fantastic dsys at the River inn. Ski in out is great ... a 1 minute stumble from the lifts at friday flat. Breakfast has plenty of tasty selections, hot and cold. The room was large. The bed comfortable. It'll be hard to stay anywhere else now. If you're a keen skier, this place is great."
