Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Our cabin was delightful. Spacious and comfortable, with a real wood fire and a spa bath.
The lodge is lovely.
There is a large, inviting reception area with comfortable seating and board games, etc. There are two dining options on site: a fancy restaurant and a casual tavern. We enjoyed the fancy restaurant, and I appreciated that they let my son order from the children’s tavern menu.
Wooden boardwalks connect everything on the site, so you can meander from cabin to lodge easily. "
"The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a spacious guest lounge where my child could play, and other guests were eating dinner together at a large table. There was also a guest laundry. It was easy walking distance from everything in town. I would absolutely stay again. "
"Wonderful experience. Amazing place. Friendly welcome from Brit. Our fire was lit and electric blankets on! Suggest bring a book and download a movie. "
"Beautiful stay in the heart of nature
We loved the thoughtful little touches like fresh milk in the room — such a nice surprise. The spa bath was perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The on-site restaurant served delicious local food, and the location is ideal — just a short walk to the national park. A peaceful and cozy stay!"
"The owner was very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. Would have liked a microwave in the cabin but it’s not a deal breaker. The gas log fire in the cabin was lit which made for a warm and cozy welcome when we checked in. The bed and bedding were nice, warm and comfortable. As it gets pretty cold there, electric blankets might be a nice touch, that way you don’t need to leave the gas heater on most of the night. All in all, we had a lovely time."
"Great location, walk to Visitor Centre to take the Park bus!
Great customer service, got early checkin. Rustic charm in their spa room - tons of firewood ready for you on arrival with roaring woodstove going already.. private parking near your chalet too.."
