"Hotel is a little dated but well maintained.
Conveniently located across the street from City Hall.
Great breakfast buffet. Nice view from the restaurant on the 17th floor."
"Nice hotel and great breakfast. Would have been perfect but air conditioning was very weak or not working and so it was very stuffy in the room making sleeping difficult. Would happily use this hotel again as location superb and nice rooms"
"I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It is in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the Fisherman's Wharf and is very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - you choose from one of four choices each day. The beef is truly wonderful. You also get access to a small lounge by the front desk which provides free water and juice all day. There is also the option of free soup and/or curry in the evenings should you want it. Staff are lovely too."
"Service was wonderful. Person who checked us in was very understanding of my limitations in the Japanese language. His English was very good. Very welcoming atmosphere."
"The hotel parking was difficult to find, ended up parking in a city lot that cost a bit extra. It’s located on a busy road, so it lacks a proper arrival area. It’s close to restaurants and the main area of Kushiro. I thought the room was comfortable and the free breakfast decent."
"I very much enjoyed my stay at Smile Hotel. Everyone was nice and welcoming. If there was any issue or questions they would answer it. The buffet was breakfast only which was helpful and amazing. "
"Very convenient location, close to Toyota rental pick up, train station and the Kushiro washo seafood market! Just that the room was a little small for 2 pax "
