"Our host Lucia and her Senegalese friend were extremely friendly and helpful, and they made our stay in Sal great. The first night we slept in a shared dorm which was a bit cramped and didn't have enough electric outlets to comfortably charge devices. It was also hard for everyone to keep the shared bathroom floors clean from sand and dirt with only mops as the showers frequently splashed lots of water. The second night we got a smaller room that we shared with two other people and that night was a lot more comfortable. The top floor shared spaces and kitchen were superb. The breakfast was great! "The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. There is a nice walk along the promenade to Santa Maria which takes about 10-15 minutes. The staff are very friendly and work tirelessly entertaining the guests. The food is tasty and presented nicely. I'd definitely recommend the cocktails"
