"We were welcomed by two young women who could not have been friendlier. Amazingly, we quickly established rapport thru common interests, common travel experiences, etc. We must have visited with them for 20 min before heading to our room. The next morning, they were not immediately on duty, but when we left about 9:30AM or so, they made a special trip out to the parking lot to see us off. This property is a very neat, clean property, and we felt like honored guests by the end!"

"Charming, cozy, and clean cabin with a relaxing deck and very kind host. It was amazing listening to the birds at 12:30am while soaking in the hot spring fed outdoor spa watching the colorful midnight sunset, priceless! This highlight was only topped by whale watching from the porch. The cabins are set back slightly from the fjord and the views are stunning! It's an easy 1 minute walk to the waters edge, and an easy drive to Dalvik too. So thankful we found these cabins; all surrounded by wildflowers, whales, nature, and beautiful Iceland. "

The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed."
