"The Sands is definitely the nicest place in town. The staff were extremely helpful, the room was big, clean and exceeded expectations. You can have coffee in the morning from your balcony and admire the water view, and in the evening head up to the rooftop for a drink and catch an incredible sunset. This is not to be missed!!! Thank you!!"
"What a wonderful idea for glamping!!! A great opportunity that the owners capitalized upon! I stayed here with my girlfriend from September 26-28 and stayed in the Brand tent. This was our first ever experience glamping, but it was literally everything we could’ve needed right there — bathrooms, showers, towels, a clean tent with a lovely bed to sleep on, a heater for the nights, plus a kitchenette!
All that, plus an amazing view of the stars throughout the night, an outdoor kitchenette, an opportunity to see some animals, and a fire pit. You couldn’t get this kind of experience in a hotel, and for the price it was at, certainly nothing to complain about! Thank you to Kat and the staff for making Dreamer’s Writing Farm as beautiful as it is!"
"This is our new favourite place!! Owner and staff are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. Till next year, we will miss you. Thank you for being so amazing.

"The check in was seamless. The room was clean as were towels etc.
it could use some up dating for sure.
Property a bit messy. Overall all was good for a short stay "
"Motel was super communicative by text of checking in, breakfast being open, restaurant on site change of hours etc. Motel was so cute and worth the trip. Sauble beach after September long is pretty quiet so be prepared for early dinners and nights but if you’re not looking for the crowds it’s the time to go. "
"The rooms are simple and very clean. We had a ground floor room facing the river. Outstanding! Lovely seating areas to watch the wildlife on the river. We saw a beaver, muskrat, mallards, wood ducks, blue jays, geese, crows, etc. A short drive into town for food or to the beach (gorgeous). The room had a shower/bathtub combo, DVD player, live TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a kettle. Free wifi. We would definitely book again!"
