"My first time in Thailand. The room itself was nice. On the negative side, it overlook a mosque. Every 2 hours starting at 5:00am, loud singing was broadcast. As a first time visiting in Thailand, this was not nice. Also the room was all the way to the back with no nice views. First impression are important. This was negative for me. "
"We had a fantastic stay at Marriott Merlin Beach. Staff were nice and attentive. Quick response to our requests. Good activities planned throughout the day for kids and adults plus live music/shows. Room was nice and clean with comfortable beddings. Food quality and variety was very good. "
