"The guest house was, warm, clean, very peaceful, managed by Haroon and his wife, who makes you feel welcome, Only ten mins walk from Ipswich city centre, a bus stop outside and the train station close by, a few mins away, The hotel is well insulated from any road or train noise, as well as free private car parking alongside. "This is our second stay at the Gatehouse apartment and we love it just as much as the first time. Set a short distance from the main hotel, it is really quiet, with great view of the garden and wooded area. The whole of the ground floor is ours and even with guests above us, it is sound proofed, so no noise. Lovely and clean and a really good size kitchen and dining area. We will be back."

"Large clean room with king size bed and seating area with TV, tea making facilities with fridge and large en suite. The room overlooks farmland. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked and the hosts were full of interesting information about the surrounding area."

"We had a lovely stay at the Marquis, our suite was lovely and had a private west facing balcony so we watched a lovely sunset over the river. Dinner was excellent, as was the wine, highly recommended. Staff were all really friendly and helpful."

"Lovely hotel - room was modern in an old country hall - breakfast was lovely quality although smashed avocado could have done with some fresh lime juice and Coriander - it felt like chunky avocado paste spread on toasted sourdough. Otherwise a lovely stay and pool was nice temperature. Would recommend. We went to the Unruly Pig to eat which is one of UK’s top Gastropods - about an 90min beautiful walk through Woodbridge and along estuary seawall from hotel - tasting menu amazing - then got a...

"The lady at the reception was very helpful. There is a small secure car park. There is a small shop across the road. The usual fast food KFC, Burgerking, macdonalds are about a 5 minute walk. The Stena port is a 4 minute drive."
