The Meeting Street Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the Inn. It was close to everything we wanted to see. There were a couple of things that needed attention, but the staff was very accommodating.
The breakfast was always good and the afternoon wine and cheese were great.
Beautiful and cozy, we highly recommend the meeting place Inn. "
Mills House Charleston, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Great location and walkability. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Pool nice (hot tub would have enabled using pool in am or night, but I knew before hand there wasnʻt one, so not a complaint.
Only complaint was the air conditioner/heater didnʻt seem to work. First it was too cold and when I asked them to check it, it was set a little too warm. It seemed to be set to one, unchangeable, temperature. "
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview
10/10 Excellent
"Walked into the check in area and the front desk was unoccupied. Waited around 10 mins and someone finally came out . Should’ve left out a sign out to let the guest know at least. A lady came out while I was sitting there waiting . Not even acknowledging that I’m there and walked into the door and return to the front desk . I wasn’t sure if she works here so I asked her . She stated that she works here and asked me what is it that I need . I believe the attitude and tone should be a bit better since it’s about customer service. I went to the car and grab my stuff and noticing she was on the phone already . I guess that’s more important. "
"The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful especially Van!
The room was large, clean and the mattress was very comfortable
We loved the outdoor space and restaurant. Breakfast was very good and loved the atmosphere. My only suggestion is maybe another bartender during happy hour. Had to wait over 20 minutes to get a drink. The bartender was slammed and couldn't keep up."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Dwtn - Westedge by IHG

"The staff genuinely cared that we had a good stay. The manager of housekeeping was amazing in getting a problem resolved. The manager in charge of breakfast was greeting guests and directing them the breakfast. Even the woman bringing out food for the buffet greeted the guests."
"Great loacation virtually walkable to everything in charleston downtown. A/c worked great, super comfortable. Bfast was better than most included breakfast. "
