This Rhododendron was growing straight out of the rock. When I came across it along the trail up to Brasstown visitor center. Rhododendron is a beautiful plant that grows along the smokies. It's full green leaves are very distinctive and in the south are on the plant almost year around. In late spring the plant blooms and shows large and beautiful flowers.

"Fabulous pastries and coffee and milk and orange juice and hot tea available Monday through Friday and hot breakfast on Saturday and Sunday . scrambled eggs and breakfast sausage and either grands biscuits or French toast sticks. They have bagels regular bagels blueberry bagels and gluten-free. They offer butter, Nutella or cream cheese to put on your bagels. They have jelly and syrup and it's fabulous. "
