Marshall Point Lighthouse is located near the fishing village of Port Clyde, Maine. The Lighthouse property includes the wonderful light, connected via the long wooden runway to the property, a lovingly-restored Keeper’s House, as well as welcoming grounds and complimenting gardens. In The Keeper’s House, there is an extensive museum housing exhibits centered on the lighthouse as well as a historic look into the industries and life on our peninsula.
As an interesting detail, in the movie “Forest Gump” Tom Hanks concluded his long run on the lighthouse runway.
There is “limited” but adequate parking available with easy access to the grounds and Museum.

"The room was great. Warm and spacious. Price was fabulous and staff was very warm and accommodating It is a short walk to Main Street Rockland. Coffe bar was very good. It was a winter visit so it was quiet. We were the only ones at pool and sauna"

The free breakfast had delicious waffles with real Maine maple syrup as well as other buffet options. Nice dining area. Overall great stay. Very convenient to all the area attractions. "Customer service was amazing the gentleman that checked us in helped us greatly the room was clean and everything was how it should be I would recommend this hotel to anyone including my closest friends and family the price point was very reasonable and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had since before Covid if I travel to Boothbay Harbor this is the only hotel I’ll stay at!!!"
