"Upon checking out, I was told that I was being billed $20/night for parking. This fee was waved as I hadn’t been told about the fee upon checking in.
Some construction in the area so needed to walk around those areas. Close to the capital & farmers market. Easy walking to UW campus, lake and restaurants."
"The location is good. Within 20 minutes walking you can find coffee, varying restaurants and the Capital square. Beautiful residential neighborhood. The interior and outdoor lounge area is quaint and welcoming.
Road parking is available but very limited at varying times. I’d suggest purchasing a parking space.
Loved my room. The apartment structure of the room was efficient and comfortable. Kitchenette well stocked, washer and dryer and a separate bedroom area. Truly enjoyed staying here!"

"I love staying at this hotel. It is always my first choice when staying in Madison. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable. The location is so convenient. The room and common areas are kept very clean. The only reason I took away one star for cleanliness is the guest laundry room. Laundry access is a huge selling feature for me on this hotel (laundry is so important to me for longer hotel stays) but during my recent stay I noticed that the washing machines smelled funky, like the rubber seal around the door needs to be bleached more frequently. Otherwise, no notes. Looking forward to staying here the next time I'm in Madison."
"Very comfy bed & pillows. Excellent shower. Only complaint: should offer free coffee in the lobby for guests. No 'free' breakfast, but restaurant on site. All in all, we would defintely return."
