"Excellent. I loved the private onsen and the view from my room- breathtaking. We went to Nita Pass to the gondola and the view is amazing.
Just a note for westerners, the food can be challenging if you aren’t familiar or like traditional Japanese food. I do not eat pork or beef. I still enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to anyone. "

"Our tatami room was incredibly dirty, dusty and bathroom wS leaking n smelly. Bathroom near dining room, water leaked around the toulet when flushed. Sests stuck to dining room floors because floors were vrimy n sticky. When i showed the staff at the front desk, pictures of the grimy tib, they only apologizedand said the hotel is old. We have stayed in 400 yo lodgings in narita, rome and venice that were clean! I wish i could show u puctures that i took! "
