Being so close to the beach made for a lovely morning walk before we took off. Laurie who recently took over running the place gave us great recommendations for what else to do on our stay and the breakfast felt like a lovely home cooked meal!"

"The views from the higher rise building are exceptional especially river view from the 5th floor. We loved breakfast and pool time here - stayed two nights and didn’t leave the resort! Some party noises on the Sat night and into the wee hours but expected given we are on holiday! "

We watched (and heard!) capuchin and howler monkeys around the hotel; swam in the clean, warm pool; enjoyed the abundant flowering plants; and ate at the lovely outdoor, reasonably-priced restaurant Location was close to bioluminescence waters, Curu Nature Reserve and more. "Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely breathtaking! Sitting under the covered patio during the afternoon showers was so relaxing. We saw over 40 species of birds on the property. The property is situated so you can see all the macaws flying over the water to roost each night. We absolutely loved this spot!"
